Benedict Sheehan

Benedict joined Morris in 2024 as summer clerk. Benedict assists the team with complex trust, estate and family matters. Benedict is also involved in managing client files and preparing client resources.  

Prior to starting at Morris, Benedict worked as a legal intern for the New Zealand Defence Force. He has also worked as a prosecution service intern for the New Zealand Police and has assisted a public law barrister.  

During his time at university, Benedict has been a co-president of the Public Policy Club and has received a distinguished graduate award. Outside of university, Benedict is in the reserve territorial force of the NZ Army.  

Benedict’s current areas of study at university include commercial litigation, relationship property and family law.
