Salonee Kumar

Salonee joined Morris as a summer clerk in November 2024. Salonee assists the team with legal research and litigation support in relation to family, trust and estate disputes.  

Prior to joining Morris, Salonee was a legal assistant at a family and immigration law firm in Auckland, with a focus on advising women from ethnic communities who are affected by family violence. Salonee has also worked as a contact supervisor for children involved in Family Court proceedings.  

Salonee’s current areas of study at university include family law, equity, evidence and relationship property. Salonee has been an executive committee member of the University of Auckland’s Women in Law Association for the past two years.
